About The Work:
"Things are fucked up right now, but they are not insurmountable. Our fight starts by challenging ourselves through discernment, and by checking in with the neighbors and humanizing ourselves to the ones that want to erase us. I'm queer and have a lot of LGBTQ+ people in my life. I also have the privilege to speak my mind and address the current sociopolitical climate in the United States and the world over. We live in a moment where bodily autonomy is at risk. I will always speak, stand, and act on its behalf. It is that simple."
About The Artist:
Michael John Serpe is a singer/songwriter and a multi-media artist and designer from Tucson Arizona.
His musical disciplines are centered on a punk rock ethos, and weave outward to touch on americana, folk, rock, and the instrumental soundscape. He is the owner of Heathen Call and a host of LOCALS ONLY on 91.3 FM KXCI.
